Join Us in Shaping Europe's Future
Friends of Europe is an independent think tank with a difference. We are passionate about good policymaking. We support a multilateral world in which all levels of governance, the private and civil society sectors, as well as citizens, cooperate to solve common challenges.
We believe that pioneering ideas and effective policies stem from breaking down silos and building communities of trust between policymakers, business leaders, civil society representatives and individual citizens. We are the only think tank with a citizen engagement platform that underpins all our work. We have set strategic vision for Europe based on a Renewed Social Contract by 2030. Come and join us!
Our Values
Our culture is shaped by our values, which reinforce what we care about and how we do things, not just what we do. Friends of Europe stands for the values outlined in Article 2 of the Treaty of the European Union:
“The Union is founded on the values of respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and respect for human rights”
We believe in the value that diversity brings to our workplace and the quality of our work. By embracing different perspectives and backgrounds, we are building a more reflective and dynamic environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. And we know that diversity improves policy ideas and solutions.
We’re proud to have developed a Diversity Plan with the support of Actiris. Over the next two years, we’ll be taking concrete steps to increase diversity, equity and inclusion both in the workplace and at our events through targeted action such as strengthening our onboarding process, creating a DEI checklist for our events and auditing our workplace to ensure we can accommodate colleagues with additional needs. While the main aim of this plan is to formally enshrine diversity in our DNA and to anchor it in our practices, we are also aiming to obtain the European Diversity label.
