Campaign Manager, JDFoE Foundation

The JDFoE Foundation is seeking a Campaign Manager, a key coordinating role within the JDFoE Foundation's One Europe, One Market campaign — a high-profile European policy initiative calling for decisive progress on completing the Single Market by 2028. The postholder will report directly to the Managing Director and serve as the operational backbone of the Platform for Dialogues, ensuring that the campaign's stakeholder network, events programme and internal content coordination function smoothly and effectively.
This is an open-ended role, well suited to someone with experience in European affairs, policy campaigning or stakeholder management, who is comfortable working at the intersection of policy, politics and coalition-building.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Stakeholder Engagement & Network Management
• Support the wider JDFoE Foundation team in building and maintaining relationships with the JDFOE partner network on One Europe. One Market campaign— spanning business federations, civil society organisations, trade unions, financial institutions, universities and think tanks across EU Member States- and manage the day-to-day contact
• Serve as the primary point of contact for national partner organisations co-organising capital roadshow events, managing day-to-day liaison and delivering shared expectations on roles and deliverables
• Support the Managing Director in developing and managing relationships with high-level stakeholders including Steering Group members, EU institutional contacts and potential funders
• Monitor the European policy landscape and identify opportunities to engage new partners aligned with the campaign's six thematic workstrands.
Platform Activities & Events
• Coordinate the Foundation’s contribution to the capital roadshow - the campaign's series of high-level policy dialogues in European capitals - working closely with local partners on agenda development, speaker briefings and event logistics
• Organise and coordinate Steering Group meetings, including preparation of agendas, background materials and follow-up action tracking
• Draft event concepts, run-of-show documents and post-event reports ensuring desired quality and level of OEOM events; ensure learnings are captured and applied across the roadshow series
• Track the EU legislative and political calendar and flag implications for event timing, thematic focus and participant targeting for each capital stop, for review by the Managing Director.
Content Coordination & Internal Liaison
• Act as the primary liaison between the campaign team and the JDFoE Foundation's internal expert units, taking forward their recommendations on the inclusion of key policy analysis, thought leadership and research outputs in the campaign's activities
• Contribute to the development of the campaign communication strategy, including campaign materials — briefings, talking points, partner kits — drawing on the expertise of internal teams and external partners
• Work with the Communications Executive and external suppliers to align and execute campaign activities with the broader communications and media strategy in sync with the roadshow
• Maintain the campaign's operational planning tools, including activity trackers, partner databases and progress reporting
PROFILE & EXPERIENCE
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in European policy, campaign management, stakeholder engagement or a related field; experience in a think tank, foundation, business association, EU institution or advocacy organisation preferred
• Strong understanding of EU policy processes and the legislative agenda; familiarity with the Letta report or related policy debates on economic affairs and the single market is an asset
• Proven experience in project management and ability to manage multiple relationships and workstreams simultaneously, with excellent attention to detail
• Experience organising high-level events or policy dialogues at European or international level desirable
• Excellent written and spoken English; a second EU language is an asset
• Collaborative working style with the ability to coordinate across diverse internal and external stakeholders
• Proactive, highly-motivated, resilient and well-organised personality with a passion for Europe.
